Dr. Dave Verma – General Dentist
Dr. Verma provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dental care with an emphasis on implants, root canals, cosmetics, TMJ issues and full mouth reconstruction. He graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1993. He has also completed a one-year residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He strives to provide the best care for his patients and as such takes many continiung education courses. He has currently completed Core 5 out of 7 at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. He is one of a only a few dentist in Maryland who is trained in Neuromuscular dentistry. He has been in private practice since 1994. He enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family.
Dr. Arpana Verma - General Dentist
Well being and optimizing health is the cornerstone of Dr. Verma's practice philosophy. Using a combination of cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry and balancing occlusion allows Dr. Verma to restore form and function in a harmonious environment. She enjoys helping her patients achieve their dental results in a pain free environment using multiple sedation methods including conscious sedation. Dr. Verma is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1993. Since completing a hospital based residency at the Prince Georgia's County Hospital Center in Cheverly, Maryland in 1994, Dr. Verma has been in private practice. She is dedicated to continuing education and continues to expand her practice with continuous training in implants, cosmetics and neuromuscular/TMJ dentistry. Dr. Verma is an avid tennis fan, enjoys reading and has a special interest in diet and exercise. She is devoted to her family which includes her three children.
Dr. Lenora Blathers – Oral Surgeon
Dr. Blathers is our staff oral surgeon. She has considerable experience in wisdom teeth extractions, implants, plastic and reconstructive surgery. She graduated from Howard University, College of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Blathers received her certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2001 and has since been in private practice with us since.
Shannon Kinna, RDH - Dental Hygienist
Shannon graduated from Allegheny College of Maryland with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing since 2008 and enjoys every minute of it. She is committed to the idea of preventive dentistry and wants all our patients to enjoy their smiles for life. She is passionate about educating our patients on the connection between oral health and overall health. She enjoys travelling with her family and interior decorating in her spare time.
Dr. Raheleh Makhmalbaf, D.M.D.
Our newest associate, Dr. Mak joined our practice in 2012. She graduated in 2009 from Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, MA with an honored degree in Doctor of Medicine (D.M.D). Dr. Mak is very competent, well trained, and a dedicated dental professional. Her assistance has made a great difference to our practice. Her professionalism, gentleness, and great communication skills have benefited many apprehensive patients who never had a good experience in the dental setting. This allows our more anxious patients to now be very excited to continue their dental treatment more than ever before. Dr. Mak strives to provide dental treatment to her patients with ease, and care. Aside from her high level of patient care, Dr. Mak continues to learn more about the latest and newest technology in dentistry. She has taken several continuing education courses for Cosmetic Dentistry, Pediatric care, and most recently completing Orthodontic courses allowing her to now be a Certified Invisalign Provider. Dr. Mak lives locally here in Frederick. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, exercising, reading, and baking.
