How Can Veneers Help My Smile?

Veneers can help your smile in several ways, including by improving the appearance of misshapen teeth, boosting your smile brightness, dental-veneersand concealing imperfections such as cracks, chips, or discolorations. Here at Frederick Dental Group, Drs. Dave and Arpana Verma can help you decide if veneers are the right cosmetic dentistry option to help you achieve the smile of your dreams!

What are Veneers?

Dental veneers are thin porcelain covers that are placed on the front surface of teeth give them a flawless new look. Once they are in place, veneers end up looking like a part of your natural smile while concealing a wide range of imperfections!

Here at our Frederick, MD, office, our veneers are custom made for each patient using a mold of their teeth. The mold is then sent to a dental lab where the size, shape, and color of each veneer is customized for the best fit and most natural look possible. When the veneers are finished, they are sent back to the dentist’s office where the dentist will permanently affix each veneer to its corresponding tooth with a strong adhesive, such as dental cement. After this step, the veneers will remain securely in place, feeling as stable as your natural teeth!
